NACC 2016

Join in a session designed to give parents and youth workers information and advice on the necessary steps to take to prepare their students for college and how to navigate the college admission process. We’ll discuss the importance of attending college in terms of career choices, lifestyle choices, and earning power; how students must prepare in order to be admitted to college; the college selection and application process; and financial aid opportunities. This session is not institution-specific and can help families considering various colleges and universities throughout the U.S.

This is a workshop about living a better story when the fairy tale ends.

Christian leaders are not immune to the pains of life: losses, grief, relationship struggles, illness. How do they continue to minister faithfully in the midst of these valleys? In this workshop, Mike Cope shares what he has learned through his family's long journey of grief following the illness and death of their daughter.

From diaper smells to wedding bells - As parents of six children, the Proctors have lived through a lot of parenting seasons. Their goal along has been to raise kids who love and serve the Lord. They'll share what they've learned from their years of tears and laughter, failures, and successes. 

I Am Strong is a message of hope for anyone who is hurting, based on Paul the Apostle’s “thorn in the flesh” and the truth that “when I am weak, then I am strong.” This workshop will be based on this book written by the presenter.
